SEEDY
ILLUSTRATION
Seedy is an illustration that I created to test out a new way of working.
I felt like working in something larger than a sketchbook so I worked directly onto sheets of A3 with Pilot Parallel calligraphy ink pens and then smudging it before it dries.
But this was just the first step…I then wanted to take the line work I had created on paper and develop it further within Photoshop and Procreate.
I experimented with various brushes and effects to achieve the look I was going for. This is part of a test for a larger upcoming project that I am currently working on so I hope to show more of this in the future.

This is the scanned version of my sketch that I have cleaned up using Photoshop to then allow me to create the texture and shading underneath in Procreate.
