WELCOME!

Hello everybody and welcome to my brand new website!

I have wanted to set up a website for a few years now and lockdown has finally given me the time to do it. On the main home page you will see many of the projects I have been working on in the past few years. This includes personal projects as well as work from the three years I spent studying illustration at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. Some projects were started before I even started university in 2017. I want to use this website as a portfolio of my work to showcase and present to potential clients and collaborators but I also want to utilise the capabilities of this blog section to document and present how I work and the ways in which my practice has developed.

I am hoping that this will grow to even potentially include art materials and product reviews, interviews with other illustrators and artists as well as becoming a place for illustrators to learn and grow with each other. A huge part of illustration for me is the thought process and how ideas are formed and I would love for this to become a two way street where information can be shared and we can learn about the way that other artists work. Obviously this site is just getting started but it is always good to have an idea of where you want things to head.

I am currently unsure of any schedule that these posts will be updated but the most accessible way to stay up to date with things is via my Instagram page @ryan_waddon_art
